The ultimate breakfast bowl
This creamy peanut butter bowl is creamy, healthy, and will keep you full all morning long!
Plus, it only takes 10 minutes to make. SCORE!
I didn't grow up eating oatmeal so I never was a huge fan of it. Also being allergic to gluten there weren't many gluten free oatmeal products. But recently I've started craving it. So I thought to myself, what would make oatmeal taste better? CHOCOLATE CHIPS! I mean obviously chocolate chips make everything better. But I wanted this recipe to be healthy and hearty. So I thought again, what could I add that would add flavor and is healthy? BANANAS! I truly never thought to add bananas into my oatmeal but for some reason I knew it would taste good. It did not disappoint. One thing I knew I was going to add was...wait for it...PEANUT BUTTER!!! Such a game changer. Makes it extra creamy ;)
- 1 cup Bob's Red Mill gluten free oats
- 1 banana, sliced (save a few for topping!)
- 2 tablespoons of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
- 3 cups of alomd milk (or water, or any othe kind of milk alternative)
- 3 tablespoons of peanut butter or any type of nut butter

Preparation
- Add oats, banana slices, cinnamon and salt to a pot. Add almond milk and stir to combine everything together.
- Heat over medium high (6-6.5) for 8-10 minutes.
- Make sure to stir the oats several times while cooking. This will help the banana slices melt and make sure everything is evenly combined.
- You'll know when the oats are done when all the liquid is absorbed and they look fluffy. (Personally I like my oats a little smoother and not so lumpy so I'll usually add some water when its done)
- Place peanut butter in the microwave and heat it for 30 seconds. Once the 30 seconds is up, stir to make sure its melting and put it back into the microwave for another 30 seconds, and stir again.
- This recipe portions out into two bowls (I like to make extra so I can have it for breakfast the next day). Layer the leftover bananas how you like and sprinkle cinnamon and chocolate chips.
- Layer with peanut butter and enjoy!
