FLUFFY DAIRY FREE + GLUTEN FREE ROSEMARY BISCUITS (VEGAN, 7 INGREDIENTS!)
GUYS! These are seriously the best biscuits. Fluffy, soft, buttery in flavor, these Vegan, Gluten free biscuits need to be in your life!
My go-to side dish at any family gathering. This recipe is simple but super delicious. There are a ton of ways you can spice this up to your liking but this one is by far my favorite. I decided to add rosemary to the mix after reading an article about the benefits of herbs, especially rosemary. Rosemary helps digestion and reduces gas in your stomach. WHAT A WIN! (especially when eating carbs.)
You can pair these biscuits with just about anything. Vegan gravy (who doesn't love biscuits and gravy), jam, a bowl of warm soup or just eat it plain! This is a breakfast staple in my house and it can be for yours too!
Indulge the right way with these amazing biscuits! Is your mouth watery yet? Cause mine sure is!
I hope you all LOVE these biscuits as much as I do.
Happy Cooking
xoxo

- 2 cups Red Mill all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast, optional (adds cheesy flavor)
- 1 tablespoon rosemary
- 4 tablespoon vegan butter (my favorite is earth balance-soy free)
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 cup of almond milk (you can use any dairy alternative you want)

Preparation
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and rosemary (and nutritional yeast if using) together in large mixing bowl and combine
- Add the coconut oil to the flour and use a fork to mix into the flour. Mix until the coconut oil is well combined.
- Melt vegan butter in microwave for 25 seconds. Pour into mix and combine.
- Add the almond milk to the bowl and stir until a soft dough starts to form
- Place dough into fridge for 15-20 minutes. This step is important so don't skip it. The coconut oil needs to harden up so the biscuits don't spread while baking
- Preheat oven to 400. When dough is ready use a spoon to scoop out about a tablespoon and place it on pan. Leave two inches in between each dough so it has room to grow.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown
